From Chengdu to Emei Mountain and Leshan Giant Buddha
Railway Stations in Chengdu
Chengdu Station
Or North Railway Station, is the largest railway passenger hub in Southwest China, 504km (313 miles) from Chongqing City, or 1100km (683 miles) from Kunming City. More than 20 cities, including Guangzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Kunming, Nanjing, Chongqing, Fuzhou, Nanchang, Shanghai and Lanzhou, have direct trains to Chengdu. The ticket windows sell train tickets within 10 days ahead of departure date. Ticket hall has 26 ticket windows, besides, there are ticket machines at the southwest corner of the ticket hall. While in Chengdu, You can take Bus No.2, 9, 16, 24, 27, 34, 36, 50, 51, 52, 54, 55, 57, 65, 69, 73, 80, 86, 98, 108, 177, 402 and 409 to get to Chengdu Railway Station.

Chengdu South Railway Station
located in the south of Chengdu City. Chengdu South Railway Station is 24km (15 miles) from Chengdu Station, and 1,076 km (669 miles) from Kunming City. Some trains traveling along the Chengdu-Kunming Railway Line and Chengdu-Chongqing Railway Line pass this station and reach train stations like Panzhihua, Xichang, north Chongqing. While in Chengdu, you can take Bus. No. 102, 111, 112, 118, 153, 16, 181, 19, 300, 303, 304, 404, 406, 49, 501, 504, 521, 542, 545, 806, 815A, 815, 816 and 99 to get to the station. From Chengdu to Leshan and Emei Mountain
Visitors to the Leshan Mount Emei, the traffic is very convenient, has formed a railway, highway, waterway and air transport network interconnection.
Airport
At Chengdu Shuangliu Airport(Leshan city from Chengdu International Airport is only 150 km, the journey is highway, 2 hours to arrive). Shuangliu Airport has two regular buses to Mt.Emei daily. Besides, if you missed the regular bus, you can take Airport shuttle bus to downtown Chengdu, then walk in 10-minute distance to Chengdu South Tourist Coach Station(Chengdu Tour Bus Station/Chengdu Tourist Transportation Center, Address:57, Linjiang Road) to Emei Mountain(The bus takes about 2.5 hours and CNY 45). This coach station has one shift in every 20 minutes since 08:00 until 18:00 to Emei downtown city. When you arrived at Emei city terminal, take Bus No. 1 or 3 until the copper statue of two beauties, then across the road and take Bus No 5 to Baoguo Temple. The most convenient way it taking a taxi from the Emei city to Baoguo Temple, which takes about CNY 15-20.
Leshan and Emei City, 31 kilometers away, there are highways connecting, there is a bus every 10 minutes. In addition to Chengdu and Emei, the Leshan also sent to Chongqing, Neijiang, Zigong, Yibin and Ya'an highway passenger line. From the inner city to a nearby highway connecting both counties.

3.Recommended Tourist Line From Chengdu-Leshan-Emei
Day1
In the morning, Chengdu- Leshan, tour Leshan Giant Buddha
after lunch, move to Emei Mountain(No.1 Pavilion, Moya Inscriptions, Xiajia Waterfall, Museum, Forest of Steles, Baoguo Temple, Fuhu Temple). Then, move to hotel Emei Night Garden(Emei Ye Huayuan), have spa after supper.
Day2
In the morning, Baoguo Temple-Fuhu Temple-Leiyin Temple-Chunyang Palace-Shenshui Pavilion-Dae Temple-Zhongfeng Temple-Qingyin Pavilion. After lunch, Qingyin Pavilion-Yixiantian-Ecological Monkey Zone-Thousand Buddha Monastery (have night here).
Day3
In the morning, Thousand Buddha Monastery-Tea shelter-Xianfeng Temple
After Lunch, Xianfeng Temple-Yuxian Temple-Jiuling hillock-washing elephant pool (have night here).
Day4
In the morning, Washing Elephant Pool-Leidong Hillock-Jieyin Palace-Golden Summit
After Lunch, Golden Summit-Wanfo Peak(by sightseeing train)-Golden Summit-Leidong Hillock-Baiyun Temple-Washing Elephant Pool(Have night here).
Day5
Washing Elephant Pool-Jiuling hillock-Huayan Summit-Chudian Palace-Xixin Palace-Wannian Temple. After lunch, Wannian Temple-White Dragon Cave-Qingyin Pavilion-Wuxian Hillock Parking Lot.
Mount Emei Hiking Tourist Line
If you are a backpacker, and like to hike the mountain roads with your own feets, Emei Mountain will be your paradise. From the foot of the Emei Mountain to the Golden Summit, you have to keep on walking in over 12 hours from the 07:00 to 19:00. Besides, you can take the tourist bus to the Leidong Ping, which is very close to the Golden Summit, but you still have to walk in 2 hours to the Golden Summit. 8 Caution
1.The monkeys in Emei Mountain like to play together, and very naughty. Please do not tease them, or you will be scratched or bit.
2. Weather changes quickly in Emei mountain, so it will be very helpful to bring coat, raincoat and some common medicines, such as antidiarrheal, Carsick medicine, anti mosquito sprays etc.
3. Better take cable car and sightseeing train to enjoy Emei Mountain, not everyone could take the over 10 hours trek.
4. Do not buy any furs from national protected animals.
5. Do not smoke in the forest, especially in the autumn time.
